Poltergeist is an upcoming American 3D supernatural horror thriller film directed by Gil Kenan, written by David Lindsay-Abaire and produced bySam Raimi. It is a reboot and remake of the 1982 film of the same name. The film stars Sam Rockwell, Jared Harris, Rosemarie DeWitt, Saxon Sharbino, Kyle Catlett, Kennedi Clements, Nicholas Braun and Jane Adams. The film is scheduled to be released on May 22, 2015.
