Insidious: Chapter 3 is an upcoming American supernatural horror filmwritten and directed by Leigh Whannell in his directorial debut. The third installment in the Insidious franchise, the film stars Dermot Mulroney andStefanie Scott, with Angus Sampson, Whannell, and Lin Shaye reprising their roles from the previous films.
The film is scheduled to be released on June 5, 2015 by Focus Features. The film is a follow-up to the 2013 film Insidious: Chapter 2, serving as aprequel prior to the events of the first two films.
